FOREST INVITATION SUITE

I was commissioned by Zola to create three customizable wedding suites.

Additionally, to aid those whose weddings have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, Zola is offering free Change-the-Dates with the purchase of Save-the-Dates and Invitations.

THE BRIEF
Poconos: Inspired by lush, forested landscape and walks through dense mountain wonderlands, this fully customizable collection is availably exclusively through Zola.

PATTERN DESIGN
Aside from the usual goals of beauty, color harmony and marketability, I wanted to try something a bit unique with the Zola collections. I wanted to ensure that across the entire suite, all illustrated elements printed with the same exact scale. Meaning, if you put the smallest and largest pieces from the collection side-by-side, nothing would feel shrunken or enlarged, but rather would flow freely from one printed card to another.
To achieve this, I illustrated all assets individually in small bundles that could be rotated across the invitation suite. I began with black linework before adding dimensional color.
Drawn in Procreate, all files finalized in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe inDesign.

I chose a palette that primarily featured woodsy green hues with natural browns, tans and shades of white. I added pops of burgundy, red and copper, along with muted wine hues.

WEDDING WEBSITE
